Shit. But thank you so much

Just a quickie to say muchos, much gracias to everyone who came to the party on Saturday: it was truly top and we both had hangovers to match. Pauline and Claude, and Jacqui M: you win top prize for your lovely surprise appearances straight from Paris and New York, respectively.

So, unless I expire from boiling bloodpressure (my bank can't find my missing Visa card, there's a leak in one of the rental flats, backpacks are as yet unpacked, Amanda has a cold, I'm still not wearing knickers because of rushing around all day long and our room on J&M's top floor looks like donkey bollocks), we'll be feeling unfriendly towards each other at 5.45am in a taxi on our way to Gatwick. Hurrah.

If Comrade Castro allows, we'll update the blog from some Cuban beach - if not, it'll be Buenos Aires in the New Year.

Merry Xmas all.

Hello girls,
Hope you weren't unfriendly towards each other on your way to Gatwick!! ;-)
Have a fantastic Christmas in Cuba with uncle Castro! And all the best for the New Year! Will keep you posted about MY travel plans as I have been made redundant! Whohoo so will get lots of money. Final day (so they say) is March 31 - will take most of the summer off and will try to come and meet you guys at some stage!
Off to snowy Stockholm this afternoon - can't wait!

Just to say Happy New Year and hope you are both having a fabulous time. Can't believe you've already "done" Cuba. Hope you have done so without ending up in jail or somesuch. London is sunny and bright and full of smiling faces of happy children (yeah, right). Everyone is waiting for the Gulf Stream to collapse and plunge us into Siberian sub-zero temperatures - but besides that we're all happy! Take care and let us know how you are doing,

Sun Leen Fai Lok to you both. Trust that you're missing Blighty with a vengeance. There's a big 'readers guide to Buenos Aires' in yesterday's guardian (satruday) good eats, interesting places etc. if you can't get it there (it's not online) email me and I'll let you know what it recommends.

Otherwise we just got back from HK, which was the biz. We're seriously thinking of GTFO and moving back once course etc. are done. So good to be in a place that works and where you are not worrying whether the fellow in the corner is going to knife you.

And on that positive note, lots of love and happy travels
